Archer's Mark, the award-winning Shoreditch production studio bolsters its creative and commercial business development teams with a double-hire to facilitate further expansion into commercials, features and branded-documentaries.
Nicky Flemming joins Archer’s Mark as an Executive Producer. She has been tasked with developing the company’s commercials arm. Nicky brings 17 years experience working in the commercials market and was previously MD at Another Film Company, where she had been for 11 years, working alongside brands such as Warburtons, Nat West and Agent Provocateur.
Flemming said, “Archer’s Mark is a truly exciting, modern production studio. What separates them from a lot of commercial companies is their ability to conceptualise and collaborate, develop and deliver in any field, for any format. They have the agility to respond to the challenges of the evolving market and their creative approach - alongside their growing roster - was a real pull for me.”
Flemming arrives hot-on-the-heels of EP Ben Whitfield, who joined from Firecracker Films earlier in the year. Having spent 10 years in TV and the last 6 in branded entertainment, working with brands such as Nike, Vodafone and Jaguar, Whitfield is uniquely positioned at the intersection of both worlds and is tasked with driving continued excellence in Archer’s Mark’s content offering as well as exploring new opportunities in branded documentary and entertainment.
Whitfield added, “The possibilities are endless with the offering we have here; from award-winning and innovative VR projects to BAFTA-nominated feature films, cross-platform branded content and traditional TVC’s. We’re looking to offer brands and clients access to every storytelling platform and to break new ground in branded communications.”
Archer’s Mark is a multi disciplinary production studio founded by directing partners Mike Brett and Steve Jamison and is renowned for bold, innovative and strongly authored work with wide international appeal.
Alongside their 2014 BIFA winning feature-documentary Next Goal Wins, and more recently, the triple BAFTA-nominated Notes on Blindness, the company have gained extensive experience in the content and commercial space. With a roster of 15 directors they have helped shape the image of premium brands such as Nike, Samsung, Ballantine’s, and Adidas, generating tens of millions of hits in the process.
