If you like to discover new and different music, then read on. Rob from A-MNEMONIC shares his latest music mix of the latest new music releases you may have missed.
Jack Wins has returned with his new track ‘Hold Your Breath’ having previously racked up a cumulative 30 million streams to date on previous singles, 'Forever Young' and 'Freewheelin'. ‘Hold Your Breath’ features Jack Wins‘ signature sound made of killer vocals and polished vibes. With its fast up-tempo beat and percussive rhythm, 'Hold Your Breath' features and incredible piano melody perfectly filled with a good dose of groove.
Greentea Peng has released her latest single ‘Downers’ – which falls somewhere between summertime sadness and hot girl summer. The London singer-songwriter describes it as “a tune for us hedonistic youths searching to feel nothing but who actually feel everything.”.
The slow-burning track hits heavy on the senses like a thick wave of humidity on a warm, balmy day. Once the three and a half minutes are up, you’ll be drenched in feelings.
“A disillusioned confession to self, my London city blues,” she adds. “Instead of getting you to sleep I’m tryna wake ya up.”
23-year-old Mabes is definitely one to watch. Her music is like Britain’s answer to Kasey Musgraves, and with any luck, she will see her singing career take similar flight. Her new single ‘America’ combines laid-back pitch-perfect vocals with a light guitar accompaniment. Mabes’ voice allows the slightest touch of her Essex accent to come through, adding to the relaxed feel of the track. There’s a richness and confidence to her singing, which only adds to our feeling that Mabes is destined for bigger things!
