Award-winning visual storytelling studio Nucco Brain has set its sights on Northern Europe, opening a new office in Copenhagen. The studio has been growing rapidly since its inception five years ago, with presences now in London, Poland, the US, and now Denmark.
The Copenhagen expansion comes hot on the heels of joining forces with Unit 9, recently named AdAge’s Production Company of the Year. The partnership enables Nucco Brain to lean on Unit 9’s 20 years of market experience and combine it with their own story-first approach and animation and tech expertise to turn around bigger projects, faster.
“We’re thrilled to be working with more brands across Europe, helping create better brand stories with our experience and expertise,” says Stefano Marrone, managing director.
Initially specialising in brand storytelling through animation, Nucco Brain has grown with clients’ needs and now caters for a wide range of disciplines - including AR/VR, experiential, content strategy, graphic design, film, branding, and data visualisation.
With a focus on delivering KPI-driven results and developing healthy long-term client relationships, the studio has earned a reputation for their fresh end-to-end approach; their studio/agency hybrid model enables them to develop solutions that span from initial strategy and concepting through to content creation and execution.
And by keeping projects in-house from start to finish, Nucco Brain is able to maintain their strong storytelling lens throughout, across clients from De Beers and Nokia through to EDF Energy and Innovate UK.
“Good storytelling is universal. It flexes across brands - it doesn’t matter how corporate - because at its core, storytelling is people connecting with people. It’s translating a brand’s raw data into a people-centered story that’s compelling and interesting,” says Stefano.
Nucco Brain is excited about bringing their expertise to Copenhagen, working with more diverse clients and taking on and delivering even more ambitious projects. The European operations will be headed up by Soren Holst, Business Director EU, based in Copenhagen.
